In addition to his live performances, Ben is also a skilled composer, having written many original pieces that showcase his unique style and creativity. He draws inspiration from a wide range of musical genres, from classic jazz to contemporary pop, and his compositions are known for their intricate rhythms, memorable melodies, and evocative harmonies.

Ben’s passion for music led him to pursue a BA in Music at Vancouver Island University, where he honed his skills as a performer, composer, and collaborator. During his time at VIU, he had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented musicians in the region, and he credits his experience there for helping him develop his unique voice as an artist.

Ben has also had the privilege of studying with renowned jazz drummer Ari Hoenig, whose influence can be heard in his playing and compositions. In addition to his live performances, Ben has a YouTube channel where he shares his music with fans all over the world.
